The Granary Tearoom is full of charm and character with its original oak beams and small slatted windows and is a delightful place to meet up with friends and family and enjoy traditional farmhouse fayre. It is extremely comfortable and warm (a bitterly cold day in December at the time of writing)! All the hot water and heating in the Farmshop & Tearoom is supplied by a very efficient woodchip burner which is Mark’s pride and joy! Since opening in 2007 we have steadily gained an enviable reputation for high quality, home cooked food served with a smile in a homely setting.
We serve delicious farmhouse breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas with daily/seasonal “specials”. All meals are cooked/prepared fresh to order and all the ingredients can be purchased in the Farmshop. Our traditional Sunday Roast Lunches of Beef & Yorkshire Pudding and all the trimmings are extremely popular and booking is advisable. The Farmshop & Tearoom is licensed and we offer an excellent selection of wines and beers etc. For customers unable to negotiate the stairs there are two tables in the Farmshop with waitress service. All meals can be taken at the picnic tables in the covered foldyard and for parents with small children there are tables situated next to the children’s play area. During the summer months customers can also dine outside in the sunshine!
